Memory Monuments is an ongoing project and collaboration between myself and anonymous others.
Inspired by the Parting Stone and contemporary projects such as Queering The Map, I collect and document shared stories of places of personal importance. I tell the stories as drawings evoking stone rubbings, raising the question, whose stories are memorialized, and how?
Where was your first apartment? Where was that last fight with your ex? Do you remember where you were when you heard the big news?
